OK! i'm SORRY, but Dark Knight was NOT that good. =/

i have to disagree, and say its not very hard to beat it in the good movie contest of all time.

But I do have some suggestions of good movies: xP

The Wackness (2008)

Hard Candy (2005)

Billy Elliot (2000)

Being There (1979)

Harold And Maude (1971)

The Anti-Climactic theme KILLED me, for one thing.

I do have to say, the acting was THE best part, they didn't lack there at all.

The script was So-So...Not AMAZING--but it wasn't bad, by all means.

I mean, it was a good movie, for that whole--formulated movie summer blockbuster that EVERYONE goes and sees like 4 times.

It was just a bit cliche. Everyone loves batman, but its been over done. This was by far the best BATMAN movie, but not the best movie.

Seriously though. I'm aware it isn't the best movie ever. But it was the best movie of 2008 by far. And i don't give a crap if you disagree cause you're WRONG!

Lol, anyway, how was it anti-climatic? Hmm.. nevermind, i get you on that one.

But i loved that it wasn't a by the book plot. That it kept moving forward, without one single climax. (I believe girls prefer multiple climaxes? lol)

But whatever. It was better than Slumdog millionaire by a million miles. Thus why i will forever hate that movie for winning the damn Oscars.

Haven't seen it either, but it can be anywhere near as good as TDK.

But, alas, it one best picture, and a lot of others too.

I think that Dogma is just pure genius. I seriously admire that film for being attempting to toe the line that combines old mythicism while still poking fun at christian fundamentalist nutjobs. I mean it's no Pratchett or Gaiman writing we're talking here, but for a mainstream comedy it's pretty damn cool. Plus Chris Rock is literally piss-your-trousers funny.

Chuck and Larry was so-so for me. It had it's moments but its nothing too memorable.

the movies made in the past year kind of just blowed in general tho....=/

they should have given out Fail Oscars to the movies that failed the most...
